Become a Family Representative

Be the Voice Families Need

Make a Difference in Your Community by Supporting Families

Are you a parent or caregiver with lived experience navigating services for your child or family? Your voice matters.

Family Representatives are vital members of the Sandusky County Family & Children First Council (FCFC). As voting members, they attend Council meetings, participate in committees, join community trainings and events, and help shape the way services are delivered in our community. Family Reps offer insight into what’s working—and what needs to improve—by sharing the real-life perspectives of families engaged with multiple systems.

By becoming a Family Representative, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Represent the voice of families receiving services
  • Help guide local decision-making and planning
  • Advocate for meaningful improvements in how agencies and organizations support children and families
  • Connect with other parents and community leaders

If your organization is looking for parent input, our Family Representatives can share authentic insights about what families experience and what support they need.
